Perfectly legal, but as Dkore-DeX says it isn't a party drug and isn't to be taken lightly.

You really do need a "sitter" -- someone to watch you while you're on it in case you decide to get up and wander about, which could have horrible consequences.

I've had some crazy experiences on it, from standing on an alien planet watching giant animals till fields, to being on the back of a humvee in Desert Storm, through to riding a rollercoaster comprised of a giant Minnie Mouse character which was summarily decapitated mid-ride. In another, it was revealed to me that we all had multiple lives as characters in differing sitcoms. If the channel was changed, I could never go back to the life and relationships I had right then -- I was literally begging out loud not to let the channel change.

All were incredibly fun, and ridiculously immersive.

Gave it to a friend one time who starting panicking and reaching for the floor -- apparently the floor had lifted like the corner of a giant page. This page was the Universe, and if it turned, everything he knew would disappear. Then he regressed to a 5 year old and was back in his mother's old home, where he climbed on top of the armchair and started trying to curl up like he used to.

Best drug I've ever used, hands down.
 
19 month trip of a lifetime back in 2008 to 2010. 9 countries started in Hong Kong then Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, Laos, Malaysia. Too many funny, crazy adventures to list.

Not sure about the legality but it's pretty strange stuff. I felt like the room kept getting cut in half around me so it was like I was in a box that was ever decreasing in size and closing in around me.
 
3 months hitch-hiking and camping up the east coast of Australia from Brisbane to just past Cairns with my best mate. It really saddens me to think that I might never get to do something so great again.

My first time in the USA and we did all the touristy stuff as well as going to the Pentagon, Capitol and getting a talk from a former-CIA officer. And we also got steaming drunk in NYC, lost one of our mates in a comedy club and ate some of the best food of my life.

Tennessee lake cabin. Rented out a cabin in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful unspoilt lake with a bunch of ten close friends from work. Cooked all our own food, drank and stayed up really late talking. Amazing times.

Nothing beats DMT, although a rather strange experience on some particularly pokey Hoffmans comes close.
 
Walked to Greggs after a hangover once. Usually get two sausage rolls. That time I got two sausage rolls and a cheese and bean melt. Yeah, that was a good day.
 
Been lucky enough to go on a lot of amazing trips and see a fair bit of the world. My honeymoon was my favorite - we traveled around Tuscany.....the food, the wine, the history, the scenery....and being newly-wed too. Just seems dream-like when I look back now.

As an alternative - last trip home from the dentist. I was sedated with triazolam and as I was coming around the effects were interesting, to say the least. I was sat in the car (not driving obviously...) and the street lamps seemed to be coming alive and reaching in to grab me. I just sat there thinking "this. is. so. cool" :p I love my dentist :D
 
Ibiza 2007, have some of the best memories of my life on that holiday. Most involve girls and un-repeatable, and an impromptu ball bag size comparing competition at about 7.30am on the way back from Eden with me, a mate, 2 Canadians and a couple of random girl judges. Also giving my mate 'Arabian goggles' after he passed out in the middle of the street... So many photos... So many strangers lol

Equally as good but very diffrent was round a mates flat with lots of friends and taking erm... A magic bean ;) for the first time with everyone else.... Possibly the greatest feeling ever tho far too much hugging and "honestly mate I love you etc..."

Was so glad to see a door on the other side of the room on that vid. ;)

I got left some on the side by my brother. Thinking it was something else, I smoked it in a water pipe. Boom, a few minutes of a mother ship we are all connected to and I could hear my brother laughing at me upstairs. :D
 
I did a roadtrip last year with my brother in his Audi RS4 through France, Switzerland and Italy for 3 weeks - was absolutely amazing and we're doing a similar trip this year.
