anyone got one of these? (ear syringe related)

Cotton buds? Is what I use anyway and so far they've been good.

Apparently they're bad for your ears as frequent use irritates the inside of your ear walls and can cause problems, or so my GP told me.

Also, don't appreciate being called a little Hitler tbh.

Can you cure my deaf right ear? Please respond.

Interested in doing a deal for treatment :)

NOT.

Seriously all you need is to use your shower head. Put it on a setting where it fires a single powerfull water shot out and just direct that in the ear it works wonders!

Also, post pictures of your surprise as you realise you are now deaf.

So yeah, don't do what he suggested.

gp dont do it proper tho , its not that much money ...

I'm amazed that your GP does it at all. I call shenanigans. Most GPs will refer you to the practice nurse. If you aren't getting the quality of treatment you need, go to another practice. Rocket science it ain't.

Alternatively, email Andrew Lansley. I'm sure he'd love to hear about your aurul 'orrors.

Olive oil is useless, for real loosening power WD40 is the winner.

Just make sure you use the red straw applicator that comes with each can. You can bend it to fit right down your ear canal, through the blocked wax. Once positioned as such you can power out any wax, Handy Andy would approve!

I've had ear problems for almost two years and I'l be damned if I'm paying 100 quid for a machine to cure it, hell I wont even go to the doctor about it :D Olive Oil does help in my experience.

I experience lots of problems with my ears form infection to bloackage.

In the last 2 or 3 years I have been okay, but the last time I got a really bad ear infection I ended up in hospital after for micro-suction. Was not very comfortable but the relief of being able to hear afterwards was ineffable.

It's pretty nasty though, the micro-suction bit has a camera on it and displays the insides of your ears on a monitor :D

Hello everybody, please come to my ear clinic here in Lancashire. :D

Put this in rainforest
Acu-Life Ear Wax Removal Syringe - CLEAN EARS SAFELY Price: £7.99

A fraction of that machine and works just as well.
You will need to soften with olive oil or Oatex first then you can flush it out easily.
Will take a few tries.
Forced to try this out when I was half deaf for 3 days and it worked wonders and it felt so damn nice to hear so clearly.

Pro Tip

You realise that if you syringe your ears often problems are likely to occur.

1) You risk damage to your ear drum.

2) The risk of ear infection increases.

Oh.. looks like we all got medical here.

Time to say bye bye.

You shouldn't be syringing your own ears really. You can cause tinitus from doing it. GP/nurse only do it as a last resort having prescribed olive oil type lubricants to use for a few weeks to firstly soften the wax. You should never attempt to syringe with hard wax as it can cause permanent damage. Basically, go see your GP. Insist you need to get them sringed (if you think you do) and nobody will laugh at you. They are there to help.
