I'd feel ripped off for paying a premium for a 3D screening, not very impressed by it to be honest.

Then the solution is...I'd feel ripped off for paying a premium for a 3D screening, not very impressed by it to be honest.
Gutted for you. Its £10.60 at the birmingham imax for a 3D film

Birmingham Imax - "largest cinema screen in the Midlands"
BFI Imax - "The biggest screen in Britain"

Well if size is your thing:
£16 for 20m x 26m
area = 520m2
= 32.5m2/£
VS
£10.60 for 16m x 22m
area = 352m2
= 33.2m2/£
Suck on that 0.7m2/£ difference, yo!
£11 each for 3 hours of entertainment. You'd **** away less in an hour or two in the pub.Clearly do - I went with the Mrs and 3 friends to see TF3:3D on saturday night. My Mrs and one friend has NUS but for 2 students and 3 adults it was £56. Insanity.
And they wonder why people illegally download!
No, people are illegally downlading because they are scum who feel the world owes them a living.
Will never pay for anything if there is a zero price option and don't understand how they could possibly contribute to the falling rate of film releases and quality.
