Battlefield 3 no XP support

Surely everyone has upgrading to Windows 7 by now though? After 4-5 months you will see how badly XP has aged.

If it's DX10+ only, XP won't run it at all. Unless you know of anyone that's managed to get DX10 running on XP. ;)

This isn't a case of "we just haven't tested it on XP" I'm afraid.

But that's the point, you cant play at DX11 due to your operating system being out of date.

You do not have a modern gaming PC if it is not running with a modern operating system.

i have the money for it but i chose to stick on xp as i prefer it ;) i also have windows 7 professional ;) on my other pcs .

as for direct x11 and not being able to use it lol i must have missed out on so many titles :p oh that is right i can play them all anyway or 99.9 percent :)

like said for me personally xp is fine and i prefer it over w7. i use both daily i dont get why people cant just except that .

wheres a lynx nab when you need one :p
 
people can accept that you still want to use XP, but you cant expect to be able to play the latest and greatest titles on a 10 year old operating system :)

If you have both they why complain that it isn't on XP? You don't see Uncharted 3, Killzone 3 or Battlefield 3 being released on PS2, do you? I'm sure if you lower the res of the textures etc then you could get these games running on the PS2 but they don't because it's 10+ year old tech.

not for long, enjoy your old horrible XP while i can play my DX11 Games on a better OS.
