Mass Effect 2, worth buying now?

With all of the problems I have read about in previous posts on the net, I was wondering if things have changed so that it's worth buying the game for pc?

There was never a reason not to buy ME2. There was never any problems with it as far as I remember and I had it preordered.

Bought it a couple of months ago and played it through without a single issue. Superb game, preferred the way equipment customisation worked in the first but other than that I loved it.

what is the big deal with this game? I played about 5 hours and just got bored, its such generic boring gameplay, just shooting and talking, the gameplay is terrible IMO

The story is good and i like the worlds/races etc, but the gameplay was so damn dumbed down compared to the first. Does it get better later on or something?

I thought this about ME1 but then I got into it and it is easily one of the best games I've ever played.

Still have to get ME2.

Yes. It's an amazing game, although I missed the RPG elements from the first game. ME2 is more of a shooter, still loads of fun though.

Play me1 then play me2. Best set of games out thr! Get the high res patch for me1. Works very well
