Hey guys.
It would appear that my 1 month old secondhand GTX460 i bought from the MM is dying.
It has been running fine all this time until now.

But i thought i'd come here for help before giving up. It all started a couple of days ago. I turned on my monitor as i wanted to watch a couple of videos before shutting my PC down. The first video was on Youtube and half way through the video i noticed some glitching on the left side of my taskbar. I thought it was a driver error so didn't think much of it. Next up i loaded a 720p mkv video into mpc-hc and again the same glitching happened. Thinking a reboot would fix it i shut my PC down for the night.
Booted up the next day and no glitching on the taskbar when watching videos. I thought all was well. Later that day i went to load Civ5 and once i had loaded a game i has a few grey lines running across the terrain and then some crazy texture flicker/flashing started and even textures moving around the screen. I thought the fan may have stopped and it was over heating but no, the fan was running and the temps were good.
Loaded up Left 4 Dead 2 and the game looked ok, but after a few seconds of loading into a campaign server my game locked up with a sound loop crash and i had to ctrl alt del back to my desktop.
Next i loaded Bad Company 2. I got some flashing on the menus and major texture flashing in game. After a few seconds my screen went completely white. Again, ctrl alt del back to desktop. This game seems to be affected the worst.
Video of flashing in BC2 menu.
Loaded Empire Total War. Seemed to be ok for the 1min i ran it. Did notice a couple of purple and green dots in the skyline. This game was the last thing i installed before my PC started crapping out. It did update DirectX judging from the install but i'm pretty sure it couldn't mess things up this badly. Updated DirectX again since so now running the latest from the MS site.
I've also had my screen go black for a couple of seconds after exiting out of a few games i was testing with and a Nvidia driver recovered message.
Atitool and EVGA OC scanner both report artifacting.

So far all i've tried is reinstalling the drivers i was using (latest WHQL). I'm going to try the previous driver but i have a strong feeling this isn't a software problem with the card running without a hitch up until now.
I'm also going to try running the card via a 2 molex to pcie adaptor on one of the power sockets as i've heard this could work due to PSU load issues and balancing (PSU and rest of spec in sig)
I'll probably also try removing and dropping back my CPU overclock. But apart from these graphical issues my PC has been running rock solid and is on 24/7.
Now onto my last point. I'm hoping somebody in Stoke, preferably the ST6 area reads my post as i'm needing somebody to help me out with a little testing. You can take my GTX460 for a couple of days and run BC2, AtiTool, EVGA oc scanner on it etc just to rule out it being another piece of hardware, eg my PSU being the problem. Please reply here and email me via trust if you can help.
Running fine at the moment, but it's ok with 2D duties. The moment a game comes along it falls to pieces.
Please help!!!!
edit: Just loaded a video into MPC-HC. Screen went black and driver recovered message.
