Does anyone watch this guy?

It's quite fascinating what it would take to survive should the worst happen and he actually does it all. I'm pretty sure he's just killed a deer before I turned it on and started sucking the blood straight from the body and yesterday he ate a raw heart.
 
It has been proven that he has assistance and that everything isn't quite as he makes it out to be. It is great entertainment though!

He still does everything on TV yes he clearly has a TV man and on the remote sets he has been known to shoot off to a hotel of sorts according to WIKII.

Either way its good TV and I love it :)

Apparently that was because his wife and kids were there so he wanted to spend the night with them. Fair enough really.

He is a bit of a tit so it is very entertaining :D

Watch the behind the scenes stuff, it's awesome.
 
Watched him on TV for a long time now, his newer stuff I think is worse. But it takes some big balls to stick a grub in your mouth the size of a fist, cut/gut a dead seal and squeeze its skin over your body to use as a wetsuit :D
 
Much prefer Mears too, can't warm to Grylls at all his show seems very "look at me, look at me!" where as Ray is much more respectful about people who live or have survived such harsh things and places for real.
 
Don't see why it has to be one or the other? :confused: Personally I find mears a bit boring and fat (:p). You have to respect grylls for what he has done and if you need someone to climb a mountain or trek long distances then bear would be your man. If you want someone to explain how aboriginals made fire or which weed to eat then mears is better.
 
Hes insane tbh.

Watched the ice one where he swims under the ice from one hole to another to show you what it is like. He then dries himself off with snow.

No matter what you think of him, the fact that he can do these things just proves it.

And of course he has help. How do you think the camera men survive? Do you honestly think they go and wear seals, or eat salmon raw and still flapping about?
 
All he does is eat everything. He won't stop until he gets enough.

"Look at this rare and incredible animal. So respectful, so graceful and beautiful... OMNOMONOMNOMONONOM!!!!"

It's OK Bear Grylls, we get it! You eat all the animals, Jesus Christ, calm down!
 
would never take survival tips from Grylls, the whole point of survival is to keep yourself and others safe not jump in to fast flowing rivers or poke a grizzly bear up the bum just to get a thrill out of it, give me Ray mears any day
