Dunno if I'm homophobic, I guess I am? Tbh I don't really care for the term homophobic or the manner in which society seems intent on labelling people. I find it laughable many people are afraid to speak their mind for fear of being called 'homophobe' or some other meaningless label.
I cringe when people say 'I'm hetrosexual/straight but...' like they are trying to make things clear they are not gay as if it's a disease but then go on to a hypocritical tirade while trying to mask their homophobic tendancies. I also laugh when gay people refer to hetrosexuals as 'straight' but then get upset when you refer to them as 'bent'. Like I said labels are perhaps not a good thing

.
Personally, I find sex between one man and another man repulsive. Just the thought of it turns my stomach and in my view is just as morally wrong/unatural as having sex with an animal from a different species. Even men kissing is repugnant to me. Much the same as my feelings will be repugnant to others. Sadly, we cannot help the way we feel and that works both ways, its how we act on these feelings that makes us socially acceptable and the people we are.
I do not get angered by the idea of homosexuality and would certainly never assualt, abuse or discrimate against someone simply because of their sexual preference. Indeed, I have had many interesting debate with homosexual friends (yes you can be friends with people whose sexual preference you do not hold dear to your own!). The age old 'but if it were two women' often gets asked. My answer to this is simply 'of course I find this attractive, I'm a man and having two sexually attractive women arroused taps into a mans natural instict to spread his seed with as many females as possible. The chance to impregante two women at once is obviously an attractive proposition to my 'natural' instincts, the fact they wouldn't be interested in me does not compute with my neanderthal insticts.
Sexual preference is ones own business and should not be dictated by anyone, other than their own conscience. That said I don't believe homosexuality should be openly promoted. Accepted maybe, but actively promoted? Certainly not. If nothing else for the long term greater good and survival of the human race.
**PC BRigade look away now**'Mincers' however, should be shot on sight. The likes of Alan Carr and especially Louis Spence really do get my back up with the way they promote their sexual preference through innappropriate innuendos and all round camp approach.
