Performance maybe decent on that small metro map with only 32 players, 64 players on massive maps with all the hardware will be the real test for your PC.

It is also far to early to compare BF3 to BC2, we need the the full on conquest maps with jets and choppers, this will make BF3 more like BF2 and it will be epic.

Q6600 running at 3ghz 4gb DDR2 AMD 5850. Running 1920x1080 with all the settings on high in game. AAx4 and AFx16 in catalyst. Not sure if catalyst settings are doing anything though as the vsync isn't working even though its set to on all the time. Performance is perfect no worse then BFBC2. Can't say I've noticed any slow down. I'll try playing with fraps FPS counter running.

5850 1gb running stock speeds at the moment.

I have [email protected], 5850@900/1200MHz and 4GB DDR2 1034Mhz.

So if you can run BF3 at 1920x1080p with your settings perfectly fine, then I am in gaming heaven

Btw what FPS are you getting with that setup?

So BF3 isn't as demanding as people thought. Some people were looking at the option of GTX580 sli for bf3

The news that it runs pretty smooth on relatively medium-spec systems at 1920x180 and yet still look amazing shows the brilliant work DICE have done so far on working the game.

aye I'mm still confident that my 5870 will go through it like butter,one of the best graphic cards AMD have ever made imo.

I doubt the alpha BF3 will have all the IQ settings that the retail release will. Is it running in DX11 even, can the guy playing it in this thread check?
