Why not call it BFBC3, I wonder if they are using the BF3 name to bring in a lot more cash flow. :confused:

Because it's been in development a lot longer than any of the others and even before BC2 was out. BC series was meant to be the console equivalent of the battlefield series - thats why you can't play BC1 on PC. But the cash could be generated from PC also and this may have even been a BETA for developers for BF3.

Well of course BF3 will grab more attention than a BC3, TBH it should be called BF3 just for the fact we get 64 players, massive conquest maps, jets, choppers and all that good stuff, all this make it more of a BF2 sequel than a BC2 one. But I will hold true judgment until we see them conquest maps mentioned.
 
I think it feels completely different to bc2. Even to any battlefield there has been before. its more like moh than bc2. even the customization screens etc. its good though. I'm enjoying it. will post screenies/videos tonight
 
Just out of interest, did those who have alpha access get an email to your EA account email saying you did?

Just wondering how it works with the beta, etc
 

/sigh, still got the ridiculously low time to go prone and then stand up. WTF are these guys all Olympians with herculean stamina???

That was my BIGGEST irritation with BF2. The whole dolphin diving as soon as an enemy showed up. Hopefully they will make the time longer and introduce a proper penalty for divers.

No but they are trained soldiers with peak physical fitness and the fear of death in them
 
Looking at that video going prone is WAY too quick but surely thats what the alpha/beta are for, to tweak things before final release.
 
Without reading anything bar 64 man maps - I assume this means 32v32 and not 64v64?

Is there any intention for them to implement the latter or are they limited with the tech because of the vehicles/damage model that seems to be in there?

I'm thinking this as well, i haven't heard them address it as 128 man maps.
