And in the dark corner of deep dungeon, towering almost ten feet tall and weighting just under 10k triangles. He puts D as in danger into the dungeon. He’s big and he’s mean. When he starts bashing you with his stone hammer it’s definitively hammer time. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Tunnel Ogre!

WOW so looking forward to this.Really bring`s back memory`s of my early gaming ,playing Dungeon Master,Wizardry series, and the Might and Magic series :)

Good find, thanks for the heads up.. Im off to dig out my Dungeon Master and Eye Of The Beholder Floppies, and have another play through.

Look out on the internet for the Eye of the beholder 1 and 2 AGA version, they are the enhanced versions with automap

I never did complete DM. I came up against this black like devil dude, threw everything I had at him but to no avail.

That was the Chaos Lord, you had to trap him using the firestaff's cage ability, then cast...fuse I think it was, again from the firestaff.

Bloodwych: I remember both parties had to survive to get to the end - there was a part where both parties had to stand on a plate to open the door. Played it to death it was a superb game - shame that the one player didn't take advantage of the full screen.

DM: not much more to say other than it's an awesome game. I still play it now.

Legend of Grimrock looks superb - I just hope they can capture the puzzles, etc. as I'd really love an updated DM clone.

"Don't let a closed door stop you"

That took me AGES. One of the simplest puzzles in the entire game, and it never occured to me to just hit it with an axe. There was even an axe lying at the foot of the door :p

Too simple for my advanced brain....

Every CRPG needs champions and Legend of Grimrock is definitely not an exception: instead of just one player character, you control a party of four prisoners trying to escape the vast labyrinth of tunnels built into Mt. Grimrock, a ruthless, desolate and impossibly high spire of a mountain where criminals are committed to exile until they either perish or prove by escaping to be innocent of their crimes. Needless to say, no-one has ever survived and escaped from Grimrock.

We’re planning to create a bunch of interesting characters for you to choose from, each with their own specialities and quirks. For experienced players the selection of a good mix of characters is itself part of the gameplay. We’re going to extend the character roster gradually while developing the game and we thought it was time to introduce a few of them, so say hi to our first four prisoners!
