Simple answer is to not play it then
I for one am still looking forward to BF3, I've not hyped myself up into a stupor over the footage, I'll just enjoy the finished product.
I find it odd that people whine about COD being the same stuff recycled year in year out, yet the BF crowd want this for BF3?![]()
I think people like RavenXXX2 have every right to complain, BF3 is so far removed from what BF2 was.

Ravenxxx2 maybe you should stick to BF2.
By your own admission, this is not the game for you.
Has anyone here got a email from EA to say that your on the list to test the beta? (I got MOH)
@beh* I thought you could only join the beta if you purchased MOH?
And you're making that entire judgement based on ONE map, in an alpha test?

To me it seems that consoles and cod kiddies have influenced this a bit to much. What should have been the true successor to BF2 is now a mod of BC2 with a higher player limit but reduced destruction its disappointing. Health regen should just not be in it. Thats what medics and a health bar is for you should be forced to limp about at half health.
Im sure it will still be fun but not as great as it could have been had it not been gimped by taking notes from cod and kids consoles.
You're missing the point. Why are they limiting the game so much at this relatively late stage in development. They may call it alpha, but with 3 months until release it's nearing the finished product.
If they wanted to show off how great a sequel to BF2 it is, put on a big map, with lots of vehicles. Afterall if that's the main element of play, shouldn't we be testing that?
The fact they don't speaks volumes. It's gonna be a BC2/MOH clone with the main focus on rush, with some 64 player conquest maps tacked on.
