someone left a rude photo on his sold phone !

This thread is getting creapy......

why do people always jump to the "could have" worst case scenario? it didnt happen so its irellevent. last time i checked we didnt live in a place like minority report where people are at fault for things before they happen!

I'm just saying the vendor's an idiot for passing that kind of material on to a stranger. Nobody even mentioned any tiny scientologists in built-up shoes that investigate pre-crimes.

I bought a second hand hard drive once that had a tonne of downloaded music, rips of windows and other software and details of his and his wifes bank accounts and isa savings accounts.

I was over the moon, kept the songs i liked, wiped everything else. Sent him a message to let him know what had happened so he's not quite so careless in the future. Never got a reply mind.

1.the phone could be for my daughter and i wouldn't want her to see something like that.

2.i expect people to take more care when they sell 2nd hand phones to clear everything from it.

3.i have deleted it and it never interfered with my life so i dont have to move on!

4.how would you like it if your daughter got the phone and saw it ?

1. Thats why you as the adult would have checked it first before giving it to her clearing anything left on it as not everyone is savy with technology.

2. see 1

3. see 1

4. see 1

Imaginee finding your kid playing with and leaking the same phone ehh.

That's the hidden price of 2nd hand goods because the 1st hand that touched that phone was really dirty!!.

When i lost my phone a few years back a Mate of mines sister lent me an old Nokia she had. Had a few choice pics and a video of her checking herself out in the mirrow on it... Cant look at her the same way even now.
Now that's a different situation because she intended it. she must be disappointed in you for not commenting

Why does the phone make your kids leak?

Oh and even 1st hand goods are normally handled by people who package them. These people have probably spread the same germs/bacteria to the item. If you are THAT paranoid about your 'leaking' kids you'd wipe ever surface down 24 hours a day. A little bacteria ain't going to hurt.

Oh and what is all this crap about 'think of the children' - kids should not have mobiles anyway but if they did it's the adults responsibility to make sure the phone and its contents are suitable. Yes in this case the seller made a **** up but that does not exclude parental responsibility of wiping the phone before anybody 'leaks' it.

I was on the other end of this once :o. Sold my old Nokia N80 on eBay, just whacked in the old 128mb card I got free with it when I sold it, assumed it had nothing on it as I had a 1gb card in most of the time I owned it.

It was in the summer between my first and second year of uni so yeah....

Here's the message from the guy who bought it!
