Didn't she go to rehab numerous times? Obviously unsuccessfully but she had tried get help. The addiction was clearly too much.

I respect those that show love and respect, those that try to fight cancer, a hero or someone who has brought some laughter to my family. Not some crack whore or someone who thinks they are above everyone else

Indeed. It sends out the wrong message and is quite frankly unfair that "Dave" gets nicked for having weed on him, yet people such as Amy Winehouse can/could get away with it.

In other words, you can flaunt a whole lotta laws if you have money/fame.

What has earning respect got do to with mocking her death. Yes we all know this was bound to happen etc but thats no excuse to insult someone hours within their death. No ones asking you to respect her anymore now thats she's dead. Maybe just a show some sympathy to her family/friends.

As much as she was a druggie and had a lot of problems she did have an amazing voice although she led the drug lifestyle a lot of celebrities do but they're just not in the public eye.

Probably why more and more people are obsessed with becoming famous, then they can get away with all the naughty things they want to do.

While I wouldn't necessarily condone mocking her death, I won't show sympathy for a waste of space.
