Recognition as in approval or appreciation for what she gave to society. So no she doesn't.
Well then why on earth are you still here posting about her.

I am in the only position to decide who is worthy of my respect and who is not.
I am not glad she is dead, I don't care enough about her to care either way. I am ambivalent about the woman to be honest, however I do not feel that people should be vilified for stating their feelings, either positive or negative simply because someone had died.
If you think that she deserves your respect then that is fine, we simply have different criteria by which we infer respect and recognition.
RIP.
Someone that badly needed support and just didn't get it.
So much talent.

Lol. You mean most of the generic sounding, copycat singers on x factor doing nothing original. Riiight.
You wouldn't say it about the kids in Norway. Who knows some of them could have been thieves/druggies but the fact you didn't know is reason enough not to slate them?
Except it's completely different. They died because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wino died because she liked abusing her body with substances that she was 100% aware could kill her at any moment.
Yes i agree with you however she had no talent, couldn't sing even with those videos you linked. Just sounds like some croaky broad in a pub!. Atleast with xfactor there were a range of singers with amazing voices, whereas amy crackhouse used to be on the radio daily killing tunes.
Not heard from her in a while so not surprised it eventually ramped up to this.
She was funny though, one of the best buzzcocks episodes but boded as a warning what was going to come.
Oh man, she's hilarious! I'd love to see her singing live before she kicks it.

No offence but your knowledge of music is clearly very limited. It's a shame that drivel like X Factor influences peoples perspectives like this.
