OcUK RR Day 12 Official Pictures & Dyno Graphs!

I've been thinking today that after my passenger rides out in the E60 and 911 just how fun a good handling car can be and how thrashing cars around country roads is more fun than than being squashing into your chair as you power up straight roads. So in light of this I won't be after anymore power for a while and I'll be focusing on handling mods. It's not as if 400bhp and 0-60 in 5.0s is slow anyway.

Things I'll be doing over the next few months include:-

Ripshifter - Much shorter gear shifts and increased accuracy. The standard box is sloppy as hell.

Quick Rack - Much faster streering as the standard car is very slow to turn.

Road Response Pack - Polyurethane bushes on the front and full geo setup.

Rear End Pack - Polyurethane bushes and subframe alignment

Pedders Suspension kit - Sharpens the handling some more and lowers

Full AP Brakes - 6pots and 363mm on the front and 4pots and 342mm on the rear

and finally just to help improve acceleration a 3:9:1 diff. Brings the 0-60 to under 5s nd also improves in gear acceleration.

Weight is your cars enemy. :(

But look at what I've done, gone from a 600BHP Mustang, down to a 400BHP EVO and then down too a 370BHP 911 and yes I do in some ways miss the immense power of the Mustang but the 911 is better, its more involving which equals more fun, yet it does not have drawbacks of say an Elise or Caterham as it cruises very well and works well as an everyday car. :)

What did it feel like been in the back of the 911? Some love it but some hate it when in the back. :D

Wow! Fantastic shots!! Thank you for taking them.

High resolution versions available? If so could I have any with the MINI in them sent to my email address please?

Kostandinokustas at googlemail dot com please! :)

Apart from not being able to breathe from the wind it was epic.

Also the Ro' isn't that heavy really. It's 1650kg and can be sharpened up by a large margin with the above mods.

Just a few for you there guys :)

Sorry to anyone i missed. I didn't get the camera out at the pub as i couldnt be bothered, and if you got there after the start of the rolling road then tough **** :p

Sorry to those who are perhaps missing, i went to the petrol station to get some food and whoever it was i asked to press the button for me forgot :D

Tom truly epic photos as always, thanks for taking them. :)

I dread to think of the cost of all that.

If you want something that handles well, buy a car that handles well out of the box instead of trying to make a muscle car handle well.

Thats not to say it can't be done. I just think that the money would be better spent on something else if you've grown bored of going fast in a straight line.

Less than the cost of supercharging.

The rolling road ones dont look great at high res as the cars are generally vibrating a little, so they look slightly blurry.
