Ultimately, she could help herself. She made the choice to take drugs. No drugs, no overdose. The selfish bitch decided to do her own thing, ie, take more drugs. I can only hope that her legacy will to discourage others from taking drugs
You know what, so do I and this may actually remind people what a train wreck she was and what drugs and alcohol can do to you.
She was hardly the role model for fans of her music whatever their ages. This annoys me, when she could have been a much more positive influence on many people lives. Heck even if she had turned her life around it would have been a start.
The sentiments of some on here accurately reflect the level of influence she had for example Morba’s below.
com·pas·sion
[kuhm-pash-uhn]
noun 1. a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.
I have no sympathy for her and feel no sorrow. I have no desire to alleviate the suffering for her death. So no, no compassion being shown here.
I am inclined to agree.
Whilst it saddens me that someone ends up at this point and especially for the family, I have no more compassion for this than for some random person who I don’t even know dying.
Just because she was famous doesn’t mean people should grieve or feel the need to grieve for her.

comments but neither do I mind the ones saying she brought it on herself or that it's her own fault or even that they don't care.
