Hi. Just got a Crucial M4 64GB. And I remember years ago from reading threads you have to do something special to install windows on these drives? What do I need to do?

Id also recommend shifting C:\Users to a normal hdd. You can do it during the install somehow, I just can't remember

Mine fills up with so much junk. I was playing Dirt the other day and it automatically saved 5gb of replays to my SSD before it ran out of space

Things like that keep happening fairly often

I suppose it depends what motherboard you have.

No special installation on the Crosshair IV motherboard. I recentley installed windows x64 hp on one M4 64GB ssd. All i did was set storage in bios to 6GB/s AHCI, loaded amdahci from a usb flash drive at windows 7 setup, then proceeded to install windows, all seems ok, not bad really. Maybe i could improve ssd with some tweaks?. Might try the msahci next time i do install of windows?.
