Does anyone ever go back and play any really old games ??

Still go back and play titles like Theme Hospital, Total Annihilation, Baldur's Gate etc every now and then.

Was playing my SNES a couple of months back too...so I'd say yes I do.

Some games are harder to play because of how bad they look compared to what you're used to though, especially on consoles!

I find it sad really. I get more enjoyment from games that are almost a two decades old than I do from most modern releases.

I still play Age of Empires II with few mates, to this day a epic RTS!
Quake 3 Arena for quick fps fix is always fun.

C&C Tiberium wars

And because of Davolas Epic post! I shall be playing Deus ex Tomorrow

I go back to jk2 now and then, not sure I will anymore though (last played a ~year ago) as I expect it's dead, otherwise I often times play old emulated console games from psx/ps2/gc

Kingpin, Redneck Rampage, Outlaws - Would love to replay those but scared that i'll ruin the good memories I have of them.

Plan on playing the original XCOM again sometime soon. Watched some vids of it recently and whist the graphics are aged, it still looks a lot of fun!

I can't cope with the bad graphics. I'm a graphics whore But there have been many great games I've loved at the time that I've wanted to replay. I most recently tried Red Alert and Baldur's Gate but it didn;t work out between us ;D

I was playing Lego Star Wars II the other day again, and however much I loved it, I really struggled with the graphics...

Every few months I fire it up and play it - it's great with the Battlestar Galactica mod.
