I don't think so, it seems that accounts have been randomly allocated access at about 3am or so this morning.

I'd say just try again later, you'll either be granted access or you won't regardless of how much you load the website, sign up to newsletters or have X veteran status.

It doesn't seem to even matter if you have any playtime on an account at all.

Nah

had a look around. It's fine and imo going to be a good game.

I can wait rather than mess around with autohotkey which could **** everything else up.

I use autohotkey as I'm a leftie.
Just have to remember to turn it off when you exit the game otherwise typing can be confusing...
It's not ideal having to start an app before playing, and it does put me off at times.

Agree with the sentiments over not being able to change controls but it is an Alpha test after all.

If you tap f you do a knife swipe if you hold and release f it switches to your knife which is nice.
 
Anyone get a malware warning when downloading the alpha?

Seems odd since it's about 20% through the d/l and I haven't begun installing yet...
