Got my Alpha invite, joined a server and disconnected after a few seconds tried again, same thing and loss of internet connection, ******* BT Infinity traffic management does exactly the same on BC2 (and only BC2)!!! BF3 is going to be one of the biggest releases of the year they had better get this sorted!

I just got sent a Alpha-Code. 1.77% downloaded so far, I nearly cried when I looked in my inbox and saw it.

I was having the same problem.

Phoning them up did not solve my issue as I was just speaking to people in India, who treated me like a Newb, askign me to swop cables around and generally wasted my time.

What I did was contacted the complaints department, who then put my complain through to some exec in UK BT who got an engineer to monitor what was happening on my line during peak times and BFBC2.

He said my BFBC2 traffic was being seen as encrypted p2p traffic and was being traffic shapped,

Eventually after about a month of waiting they fixed it.

Someone help me out. I may be being thick, but can't for the life of me work out how to join a game. It keeps telling me to select a soldier from the top menu, or my active soldier is not ready for duty.

How the hell do I make him 'ready for duty' ? The only place I can see where to select a soldier is on my profile at the top of the page, but no amount of clicking things is getting me into the game
