Anyone else still having errors and unable to join? (i had a crash earlier, have rebooted since)

I've been trying for the last 20 mins to join a game with no luck. Various errors, or fail to connect to server, or timed out,etc etc etc.

I clicked 'quick match' 10 minutes ago and it's still looking for a game :rolleyes:

It's an Alpha. When you signed up it did state that at times the servers won't work as the whole point is that they are load testing.

Just got on for a game so it's just server balancing etc, not the QTD i had earlier

I actually hate prone, really hope they decide to take it out at last minute, it is ruining the game for me so far especially in the tunnels part as it is even harder to see them. Would make the gameplay much more fun and a bit quicker than just dive and crawl across the entire map as you have to basically do that or else you will be shot by some defender noob lying down in a bush somewhere.

I've just realised that my ea profile has been set to not receive emails from ea. Signing up to the newsletter is not enough, you must have this setting in your profile.

Really? I have found it quite difficult to hide in the bushes effectively. Only on one occasion has prone caused me to rage and that was when I thought a prone guy was a dead body...then he stabbed me *******

Z prone
X or L-Ctrl Crouch
V change fire mode
tap f knife swipe
hold f select knife
as above but with g for grenades
then all the rest standard BC2 controls.

oh and with LMG with bipod tap RMB to deploy and hold RMB to aim.

Anyone worked how to stab someone yet?, i've got my knife out go to knife someone and i don't get the animation at all?. I find it very difficult to knife people who are prone
