If DICE were to pull all plugs on 1st August, I can imagine lots of alpha testers being heavy disappointed as there will still remain a large desire to carry on playing the map just for teh sake of enjoyment and appreciating every details that went into the gamne up till now.

normally when a trial phase ends it gets removed till the next one is out (beta in this case)

Right guys, I got an alpha invite today by just doing the questions and I received an email earlier inviting me again.

So can I give this invite away to someone else, what happens if they upload screenshots or something, could both get into trouble and anything else I should know first?

Most BFBC2 maps got converted to Conquest etc which you will probably see a lot of due reuse of assets = much faster and easier to make maps.

If you got an e-mail on the same account as your EA account then the code will be the same not 2 different ones.

Tried to register on the Alpha website but it keeps saying "Criteria not met" etc - I give up until the Public Beta, at least it should be more refined then.

The voicecom channels are very easy to set up and the clarity is really good.

Big plus point. Server browser is also really good.

Okay so, I got an Alpha invite today. However it doesn't download properly - it starts off at about 400KB/s, and then slowly declines to about 40KB/s where it will stay. Also if Origin crashes or I restart my PC, the download resumes at 18%, despite whatever percentage I was on previously.

Does anybody know how to fix this?
