well that explains everything.
you're deaf, as the Q key does actually yell what it's saying as well as adding it to the minimap and on screen hud.
On BC2 Raven when you press q, whatever your request is, your player says they either need some ammo or they need a medic over here, saying thanks or sorry in a war shooter is stupid, once i've got what i want, i'll get straight back into the 'war'.
Raven, really, you can see the vehicle damage and anyone with common sense will know when to bail out.

you might learn something.
You don't hear them say it as you're a mute in game apparently
People who feel strongly about it are not going to shut up about it, obviously they are going to make a fuss about a feature that they do not want to see in a game series they enjoy above any other. After all who wants to see a series they love go down the drain?
If you can't handle reading the comments then you should probably stop reading the thread, as it will not stop, and replying to it the way you do is certainly pointless and no doubt making you angrier.
As to how spotting could be improved, well if removing it would be good, or by being purely on the map. There is no other way for it to improve.
The only way to make everyone happy is to add more filter options to the browser allowing you to filter spotting servers. Now I have said it before so maybe you should reply to me telling me to shut up, but it is the best way to make everyone happy. Then those who don't want spotting will turn it off on their servers and everyone will be able to find and join them much the same way as filtering hardcore servers out.

what like
this isn't true and your character does yell when you Q spot.
"hey, ammo, I need ammo" is the American one for when you request ammo.
or "hey pick me up i'm tired of hoofing it" for pick up
why do you feel the need to lie?
Am I the only person that prefers to have the right mouse button held down?

When I played many moons a go, there was no voice call when you requested something, yes the other players heard the auto voice but I never experienced what you are saying happens in BC2. Let me get this straight, in BC2 when I Q a medic I can hear my character shout I need a medic or whatever they scream?
Im with you on this, i much prefer to hold the rmb down as opposed to clicking it.
On another note, anyone else see this looking through the alpha files ( Import old-school cfg files for backwards compatibility )
Makes you wonder how much old school stuff there bringing over to bf3![]()
