they do indeed read them and gather ideas fro them .

obiously it aint going to be the head of ea it will be a lower ea person who will get creative or ideas that are either red hot topics or good ideas and relay them to people that it matters to

the higher up people will scan the forums aswell sometimes and may answer where relevant

Well for me i can take it or leave it with the two biggest threads, if they happen so be it if they dont no problem i can still have fun with my mates shooting the hopeless in the face.

I don't think either are game breakers or game changers for me and after 17 hours so far on the alpha i can defo say this is a buy for me. Just got my second medal even though its just one map i cannot get enough of it.

UPDATE******

zh1nt0 just said in my Battlelog Beta thread - 'no alpha players don´t get carried over to the closed beta.'

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2811510711344980125/

The thing to bear in mind though is that like the BC2 “closed beta” there will no doubt be thousands of keys made available on a multitude of community sites. They might for legal reasons make it closed only to the MoH LE buyers for a day or so but I would fully expect it to be as closed as something that’s open.

i5 2500k at stock, 4gb ram & 1gb ati 5770 card and am getting about 35fps on high (1680x1050) but if I put it on auto I am running at 60+fps and it still looks good :)

Have just added another 5770 in crossfire and am now getting 60ish fps on high outside, 90-100ish fps inside on high and auto was about 80-90 fps.

So all in all a very nice performance gain for little money :)

So crossfire in the alpha is suddenly working?

Yes for Alpha code! This isn't aimed at you Gerard but does no one understand what Alpha means in software development!? :p

Makes little difference if its alpha beta or final, if the alpha is updated for improvements to be included why wasn't origin setup to provide those updates?

Because its an Alpha? I'm pretty sure this alpha shouldn't have this many players and only due to the NDA leaks and EA/Dice's slow response their only option is to let it loose into the wild. The Alpha has been running all month I believe, this would have probably been a more closed off community of 1000 players or so at any 1 time to test Battlelog, Multiplay server configurations and such for the Beta next month.

Then it looks like Dice is trying to maximise the use of this adding a few 10000s of players with a few tweaks but never have the backend ready for client side updates. To me it's all very samey as nightly builds and with this code being 3-4 months old at least it's probably not something they want to put too much time into.
