Because its an Alpha? I'm pretty sure this alpha shouldn't have this many players and only due to the NDA leaks and EA/Dice's slow response their only option is to let it loose into the wild. The Alpha has been running all month I believe, this would have probably been a more closed off community of 1000 players or so at any 1 time to test Battlelog, Multiplay server configurations and such for the Beta next month.

Then it looks like Dice is trying to maximise the use of this adding a few 10000s of players with a few tweaks but never have the backend ready for client side updates. To me it's all very samey as nightly builds and with this code being 3-4 months old at least it's probably not something they want to put too much time into.

It still makes no difference if its an "alpha", especially considering the amount of pole polishing EA has been doing about renaming EA downloader to "Origin". Theres plenty of people right now who have no idea theres a new client available and will still probably be posting about bugs that might be fixed in the new build.

Just seems to be a backwards way of doing things considering Origin is a steam wannabe update capability.

Will this be sorted?

I can't help myself but keep comparing this game to CS Source lol in terms of gameplay, even though both differ quite a lot. :p

There is no issue with hit reg, spot on as far as I can see.

Maybe lag?

They have stated that this is one of the things they are going to get right for BF3 (cant remember the source, prob bf blog)

Also CS Source??? Maybe this is why people suck so hard at this ^^

Not my video. gif sums things up a good bit.

Agree on this, I was a big complainer of the BC2 hit reg issues early on but they seem to have improved it. BF3 for me is spot on, there's virtually no lead having to be done or raising of the crosshair, bulletdrop on these maps aren't noticable. (Except the LAV)

One massive problem though is synchronization, too often have I killed someone who's just gone behind a wall (with a delayed - Kill 100 points!) or I've gone behind a wall to still get shot 1-2 seconds later.

I'm also able to spot people quite clearly behind a brick wall/blast wall, or a tree stump, arfg.

Unlocked the shotgun, why does it take 4 shots to kill someone at close range? 2 shots should do the trick at that range, 4 for mid-range at least.
