Is the kernal that comes default with lite'ning ROM the best one to use? Has anyone manually changed there kernal when using lite'ning ROM?

The new sony experia duo 1.4ghz will be apparently using a 2500 mAh battery. Makes you wonder why samsung only produced a 1650 mAh battery. It's so obvious (isn't it?) that phones today need as much juice as you can throw at them.

Mainly because the Sony will have a much more power hungry screen?

The Samsungs main marketing ploy was 'worlds thinnest smartphone', if they had matched the battery i'd bet they'd have lost that marketing. I'm willing to wager the battery life for the Sony won't be all that different from the Samsung given the extra clock speed and more power hungry screen.

I honestly don't see how the average user really needs better battery life than the SGS2 tbh. I've never, ever run out of power or even come close.

Bought an HDMI out cable yesterday. Quality from the iPlayer app is abysmal, even with the quality on the 800Kb setting. The movies I have recorded look good though.

Bit disappointed :|

Oh I see, I didn't realise the physical size would necessarily change, but I guess it would.

My friend and I have been having a friendly comp on some fishing game for android, him on his new SG2, and me on my Desire... 1 week later there is a weird round smooth patch right in the middle of his screen where you pretend to reel in a fish lol

So a small warning to any budding fishermen out there! :P
