My humble views
Hey lads glad every one seems to be enjoying the alpha.
Here is my humble thoughts on the whole alpha thing perhaps a bit different to the current discussions going on.
I feel it's a very brave move to have a "public" alpha seeing as bf3 is going for the fps crown. Let me elaborate, the fps crowd tbh on the whole are fickle bunch who upon seeing a unfinished product will give it a final decision based on what they see, some without even playing. Example of that you just need to go on the ea forums. Cod fans will pull it apart on things that will be fixed or potentially have been fixed already. I work in a software industry and would never ever ever show the public something I'm working on until it's done, again that's just me hence why I think it's very brave move. What are others thoughts ?
The marketing around Liverpool is quite big for bf3 I've seen lots of posters and banner for a few months around the city.
Played about 10 rounds so far am a massive battlefield fan and its just how I expected, excellent

never really thought it was going to be a re-skin of bf2 nor a bc2 clone but a happy medium with the best of both worlds. Its Missing elevated destruction models so I'm led to believe, which is a hallmark of battlefield games now. I really can't wait to see it all in action.
3d spotting I'm not a fan of at all but I am a exclusive hardcore player so its not something I'm worried about for full release.
The audio on my 5.1 home cinema system is mind blowing I've never heard anything as good even makes war tapes from bc2 seem a little bland
Pity the alpha ends soon but I don't personally want to overplay the game before release seeing as there beta to come as well.
