How bad is your handwriting become since the dawn of computer age?

My handwriting has always been completely illegible to me, and I was amazed how people that graded my exams managed to read them.

But its still better than any handwritten doctors note I've ever seen.

I didnt actually use computers for studying or anything other than games until uni. All my school years were still using books and pens.

Dial up was still expensive when I was 16, and 1 Mb broadband was like £20 a month or more.

Its funny that I always had to write in cursive at school, even though my single lettering was easier to read and neater, and my cursive was completely horrid.

Im terrible now lol, my writing looks nothing like it used to, even my signature is suffering, it changes everytime i do it now :( not good if they really do check it sometimes, i have to really concentrate and give them one that actually looks like the original :(

Think that will take some beating.

Strangely, its better than my college and school work though.

My handwriting is terrible - much worse than the sample above! Combination of always having a PC around the home and being a mathematician/engineer. Means that I can write Greek letters fairly well, but my English sentences are illegible to everyone else :p

I've never had particularly neat handwriting, but it's always been clear and easily readable. Now it seems to have maintained the quality, but the speed has greatly suffered as has the amount I can write before getting a sore hand.

My handwriting has always been terrible. I grip the pen/pencil WAY too hard and then I get cramps and that doesn't make things any better. The problem is that this year the only things I'll write down are notes for myself and a shopping list on the whiteboard at home.

Mine is never joined up.

My handwriting has been crap since I first learned to write!! no matter how much I practise it never gets any better!! it's not joined up and it's not 'not-joined-up' it's a sort of hybrid scrawl lol some letter shapes from different styles, it drives everyone mad trying to read anything I've written... sometimes it even drives me mad!!

Strangely mines improved loads since school and I don't write too often as I work in IT.

Handwriting has always been pretty bad, really is terrible now though. This is despite still having to write everyday at work :p

My handwriting has always been fairly messy, but the one thing that has changed over the last 20 years of typing is that when I do write, I often miss out letters in the middle words and have to go back and fill in the missing letters.

Eg when writing out "changed", I'll do something like "chngd" and then go back and fill in the "a" and "e". Im quite concious that Im doing it too. I think its because I can type much faster than I can write, so I start writing at typing speed, and if I was typing I would be further into the word than I actually am, so I miss letters to catch up.

Very odd, and It makes me look like a right spacker when I do it in front of other people.
