Because they need to be taught a lesson, to them death is almost glory, sick of this liberal thinking, I was brought up right from wrong, granted I was never subjected to certain aspects of life but I have had a few crap years with very little money but I have never turn to crime or violence.

So you advocate summary execution?

Great, I'm glad "liberal thinking" outweighs your kind.

I'd rather them go to court for due process to be applied, for punishment and rehabilitation if possible. I think we know what you're all about though. ;)

No time, no place, step up to the plate, cowards, one guy doing his job, paying his taxes vs sub human scum.

Yes, that guy was an absolute gimp. But we've got kids on the street, we don't need bloodshed. We need the police to get it under control.

I still think that people are putting far too much stock into the shooting being the sole contributor to this.

At the end of the day when people aren't happy, Riots are inevitable.

Well I very much doubt one Police Officer shot another!

Up to you to make that judgement. They can't do it for you, as it isn't a fact at the moment.

Exactly. It is possible but unlikely. Also how many times have CO19 been sent to arrest some random perfectly harmless model citizen?

Has happened. See Hackney guy shot for carrying a table leg in a black bag. Also the infamous post 7/7 example.

Jay Crowned, 39, who lives locally, said Mr Duggan had four children - three girls and one boy - and described him as 'a good daddy'.

Locals named Mark Duggan, pictured with his girlfriend Simone Wilson, as the victim of the police shootout
She added: 'The whole family is devastated. Mark was a local boy who was loved by the community.
'He's not a troublemaker but he's been down since his friend was stabbed in Mile End in around April this year.

Oh good god. He will be sorely missed I'm sure

I cant fix it, only the "community" can but what community, have you seen the footage, how many people are on the streets, mind blowing, the government will crack down, I mean do these guys what the police techniques of the LAPD, because that's what they will get, if they want this sort of crap.

I don't understand how the police would go out and look for trouble and reports saying the police shot him while he was unarmed and on the floor, do you think all these people rioting knew him?

The met got it wrong with the Brazilian electrician but he ran, he dun goofed.

Generally though when mistakes like that happen they don't find superfluous firearms at the scene, hmmmmmmm?

It may all look circumstantial to you but put all the evidence together and I think its a fair bet he was a bad egg.

A news outlet shouldn't make "fair bets". There are other programs and media mediums for that.

Yes, it was my best friends dad Harry Stanley who was that poor guy. They shot him quite a few times, one being in the head.

I didn't see a large group of white/Scottish/Irish people marching to Hackney demanding answers to questions.

Also his arrest was to be part of an operation to clamp down on gun crime.

The thing is if they want to stay impartial they could at least use impartial language rather than making it sound like he was innocent and a victim of police brutality.

Hey, this is about the BBCs coverage and whether they should be calling this guy a gang leader who shot a police officer.
