Why can't they send a chopper out there for live footage?
It's 2am guys, go to bed
One photograph in which she's chosen to walk her children through a riot that is now so bad that all the media organisations have pulled their camera crews out of it.Terrible parent? I'm not sure that's particularly fair from one photograph.
Even if that was correct it means she must have been elsewhere - why would she possibly not stay there, rather than enter an extremely dangerous area with two young children in tow?She could have been waiting for a safe route home for all you know.

I was thinking that.
Camera crews used to enter war zones - now they wont even go to Tottenham. I appreciate that the BBC crew was attacked, but surely you just stay a bit far back rather than just giving up completely? Now there's no live coverage at all.
I don't think I ever stayed up this late even on NYE as a child.None of you ever stayed up late at weekends or holidays, never occasionally went out at the weekend with your parents to events or friends and stayed up a little later? Or went to sleep, and were woken to go to the car etc?
I did, and I have perfect control.
I think some people must have lived like robots as children by the sounds of it.
I'm not sure how a guy on a bike's gonna help? Why can't they send a chopper out there for live footage?
House on fire!

In the end of the day, the primary role of a parent is to keep your children safe. Walking them in to a riot is the opposite of that - it's negligent in the extreme.
Sky News just said that they had to withdraw their crew because they were being surrounded by 'youths'.

Because there's loads of copper choppers already up there.
