I've only used this drive for windows, drivers and apps, and this has happened

Would a secure erase fix the write speeds? Im not too keen on having to reinstall windows though.

It should yes,or leave your computer logged-off for the night and let the garbage collection work on the drive.

Dont run loads of benchmarks SSDs dont like them being run continuously.

Im not running loads of benchmarks, I've ran less than one per months worth. I assume that running gaming benchmarks off my normal hard drives should be fine though?

How do you mean that leaving it logged off would work? Does leaving it switched on or off not do anything as that is how I normally have it.

When the system is logged off using the same button you use to shut down/sleep pc,the SSD will go into idle mode.

Garbage collection will then run http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garbage_collection_(SSD)#Garbage_collection

Let you pc log off for a couple of nights when you go bed, your write speeds should then be back to normal.

Leaving the pc switched off will do nothing for the SSD, and Garbage Collection will not run that way.

Running benchmarks from normal HDDs is fine.

Ok, one night of it being logged off raised the bottom 3 write speeds by around 2-4 Mbps, I suppose it will improve after a few more log offs.
