Oh FFS... Now they have some guy called Nathan John of some "Youth Enlightenment Ltd" saying that he doesn't condone the riots/thieving but "the black youths are simply crying out for help as they are being ignored" and "to take this as a warning that it may happen in other areas"

I got a cousin who has just posted on Facebook saying she lives in-between both places in Edmonton, she said that she drove past a retail park and there were people ready and waiting. Hope it doesnt spread as I have family down there :(

You aren't allowed to touch girls, even if they're breaking the law.

Feel really sorry for the people left homeless in Tottenham since their flats got burned down :(

Would be interesting to see if any vigilante action takes place, eg local residents organising to protect their streets etc.

Anger at high unemployment and cuts in public services, coupled with resentment of the police, contributed to an explosion of violence and looting in a deprived London neighbourhood, residents said Sunday.

"I have no job, no prospects, no anything. Then they wonder why there's crime," he said, adding he had been unemployed since he left school.

"This is the ghetto, this is the slums, they don't care about us. I've been stopped outside my house by the police for no reason. There's no jobs ... but still they want to cut benefits. We ain't got no way to survive and it's like no-one don't care about us.

"There's injustice and we've had enough," he added

"Tension is building because of the coalition government's cost-cutting measures. People in the poorer communities of London and around the country are going to feel victimised," Allen, who said he was in his 40s

No no your wrong the world owes them a favour:p

On a serious note I thought Australians had issues with aboriginals in NT and WA but from what I have seen which is limited fills me with utter disgust :(

If you want to be employed you have to go earn it these people expect to be handed well paid jobs at the same time as turning their noses up at low paid work.

In the LA riots the Koreans set up patrols of Koreatown and began barricading it and defending the area with assault rifles. We can't really do that in this country though :p
