Whilst I don't wish to trivialise the issue if they have no qualifications then whose fault is that? We are legally obliged to attend school until the age of 16 and forced to take GCSE's!

Is it really somebody elses fault when they emerge with none?

They are responsible for their own behaviour, no-one else. No-one else caused them to riot, loot and generally behave in a manner that would be out of place in a lawless scumhole.

The problem is a large number of individuals with a lack of personal responsibility and a sense that they are entitled to more than they have.

To argue anything else is to pander to the violent scum, which I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be considering if this was the EDL or similar...
 
I think the Met should be 'evaluating' those Taser X-12 shotguns in a riot situation. They would certainly reduce the numbers willing to run up close and taunt or throw petrol bombs.

As for the lack of hardware, as the military sector is our largest export market I'm sure the manufacturers will have all sorts of non-lethals in their inventory that could be loaned to the police or military for evaluation / demonstration purposes. Then we get to demonstrate British ingenuity in front of the worlds press and get a few export orders out of it too. Profit!

No, the solution to violent scum (not sure jealousy is actually a crime) is to not have a criminal justice system that panders to them and lock them up for a long time - which costs money to be recouped from the taxation system. Then the second part of the solution is to prevent people from under-privileged backgrounds becoming violent scum in the first place - you do that through schemes like Sure Start, and EMA - both of which were first on the coalition chopping board.

There are no compounding factors what so ever in a life in the lower rungs of the socio-economic ladders? ;)

It isn't an excuse, but it can be a impact.

I'd say yes there is a large number but it's not just black people, the news has been showing loads of white and asian people all day shouting at the police and egging them on. However the two videos we've seen of looting mainly showed black people which hurts me being black myself.

I worked hard to get the life i have. ME working HARD...these scum bags want hand outs, whilst they sip their coke and watch JK. They cant even raid bloody currys properly ffs...

what world do you live in exactly? i guess you must be a laborite - only they can be so deluded.
