I can see their point and the fact that if they use force they'll probably make matters worse but what else can they do?

If they got the army in with some tanks and infantry walking the streets then i'm sure the crackheads will be tempted to back down.

Nope, the VG TV feed is no longer running.

Without the Choppers its now gone a bit quiet again like last night where there is no more new footage. At least though tonight they are still focusing on it, than pretending it's not happening.

It is probably difficult to know where to be though and they don't want to put their staff or equipment at risk, we know that these people will do whatever to damage camera gear.

Yep, ya know the funny thing about eh political agreement in NI when it came to forming the police...EVERY party did agree the armoured LR's where the best tactic for policing in NI, lol...certainly from riots they prove their worth, VERY tough, withstand anything the riots here have thrown at them, the sound of them barrelling down the road side by side has them running, puching the line back to where THEY wanted it.

But this is all different, whats happening with the looting is pure sickening, my thinking is if they used PSNI tactics, pushing back, making the line they want, plastic bullets etc from the moment it gets out of check..would this have escalated like it did?
