The problem I foresee is that the common goal of a typical riot is in demonstration or opposition of something.

These people are not rioting by definition as they are not protesting anything.

They are just groups of separate individuals stealing and causing havoc because they have realised that they can steal more things by working in a pack.. this must be harder to resolve as there is no real cause of the aggression.

There will probably be a curfew from tomorrow, it started early today so don't know if it will help really.

Yah there are too many people on the streets that do not seem to be taking part but just watching.

Once they are out of the way the police can be a little harder on the rioters
