I for one would find it a pretty embarassing situation to see the army have to be deployed to deal with hoods. Plus the fact that the army are not trained in crowd control you will have all sorts going wrong, Bloody Sunday??
Cameron needs his little Cobra meeting now, decide to get the PSNI on the
boat, with a container load of plastic bullets and all will be sorted in no time.

It's about numbers though, the Police just don't have the numbers to be everywhere and protect people and property.

The Army are trained in riot control, they've been doing it for years in Ireland the Middle East.

Like I said earlier, as we discussed in this thread last night, there was an interview with a Soldier on LBC who said they were trained for such situations.
