no, but a bit of a backbone isnt a bad thing.

nothing should be taken to the extreme, it should all be balanced.

I am absolutely gobsmacked that there is currently a war in Britain, and it's spreading like wildfire. Gobsmacked, if I see anyone looting I'm going to hurt them
 
We need a national guard esque force we can call upon in times of emergency like this imo.

Send APC's to the streets and watch 'em run.

Sadly though, in our current cash strapped climate, it aint ever going to happen.

Also, the police need to change their tactics, it's not so much as riots anymore. It's seems it's about distract then raid shops for goods. At most they are armed with a metal bar, just fire in some teargas in a store that has a broken window will clear the shop. Job done.

He said hours ago that he's coming back. Had to wait on a military plane getting to him though.
And, tear gas into a shop. How will that help anything?

People keep saying tear gas, water cannon, we need it! However not one person has said how that'll help.
