Few electronic stores have been looted on the Purley way and apparently stuff is heading towards Purley high street now! I’m glad there are only other houses around me :D
These people are a waste of space in this country and would not be missed. This would never happen somewhere like China they would all have been carted off never to be seen again! Now I don’t agree with the way China deals with 99.9% of things but I tell you what we could do with some of that style of enforcement now!

On the contrary: I think he's going to commit political suicide if he doesn't step up to stop this now. If he doesn't empower the police force or bring in armed forces, then I don't see this ending any time soon. As I speak, it is spreading to all the other major cities in England. If he doesn't do anything then this is what he will be remembered for standing by and doing nothing.
 
The thread titles needs to be changed.

Call it 'Riots in England'.

My other thoughts are towards the army.

We might need their help if this keeps up over the next few days as it is obvious to see the police can't cope with this level of violence which is stretched over London.

We have 30,000 police officers yet only a handful of that number are trained in riot situations. Someones head at Scotland Yard needs to roll for that.
