The Police will always be under-manned and outnumbered. They can deal with localised riots but when it's as fast and widespread as this it's almost unstoppable.

To all the idiots (yes you, Ken Livingstone) that think that this is happening because the youth of our society are disenfranchised, and angry at their lack of prospects afforded to them by our education system for example- no, this not an outpouring of their anger and disillusion, it's because they are complete and utter *****.
 
We can deploy the army to sort out other countries' problems, but I don't understand why they haven't been deployed in London and given permission to use force? The police is clearly not man enough and/or is outnumbered.

First time someone made a black joke, sarcastic comment was fair enough, but on almost every god dam page! And most of you are not even joking. There are a shed load of WHITE tramps involved in these riots too and barely any Asians. Heck the ones in Liverpool will be majority white FFS.

What, he is part of the problem.

1985 he wasn't even in power.

Fact is you force people into an area, create a "ghetto" people come in from different countries, different cultures, they have nothing to offer to the country, they create this big "poor me" so what happens is, these people take up homes, offer nothing to economy, hence the massive influx of people from eastern Europe in the 00s and all the Asians and middle eastern people that want to earn something. Claim their is no jobs but these guys wont work for min wage or ever £9 an hour or more and get up at 5am when they can do what they do, thus ruining the area and making it even more of a slum for the own kind.

Simmer for years and serve up. END OF

Greatest example is the 1926 video of London posted, did they riot and smash up the city? No they got on with it, joined the army, worked down the pits etc. etc. they also wore hats, that is a fact.

Someone needs to calm down and accept its an internet forum, most of the posts are jokes and the ones that are not are ridiculed and abused by everyone else.
