No but they should try to approach and arrest the chav instead of going in heavy handed, this just gives the green light to people waiting to kick off
 
if i was prime minister id be on the phone to barrack asking if i could borrow a couple ac130's and anyone on the street after 6pm and in a group more then 2 or anyone carrying 5 box's of trainers or a 42inch lcd tv will be cannon fodder

more police= less force.


4+ people can hold a person very safely with little risk to themselves or the suspect.

1 officer has to use a LOT more force to safely restrain the same person.

Because they've never experienced life in the Caribbean so they're ok living on benefits and accept mediocrity as the norm. I'm amazed at the opportunities available to young people over here in the UK and yet still they cry about being deprived.
 
Saw that piece on Sky earlier showing the morning headlines for the papers... surely calling this "Anarchy" isn't going to help the situation.

Other than being completely unable to see what the police officers are doing, the "its a girl" argument doesn't hold weight with me. If she went up and bricked a police officer, she goes down, I have zero problem with that. Because she's a girl they shouldn't do anything?

Who knows, anyway, the reason 99% of people out their are rioting, is to steal crap, nothing more or less.

Being in South Ealing, the Ealing Broadway pics are rather worrying. Though we've had plenty of crap around here before, bomb on uxbridge road, near the tesco's which has been lotted/smashed in tonight, bomb just round the corner from me at the Barclays bank years ago.

But this is way more worrying, groups of people walking down my road as reports of people starting to gather in Ealing Broadway start up, theres pics of cars on fire on the way up there and then opposite the first pub you come to really is a building on fire with loads of flats above it, loads of shops and cars damaged, on fire, or looted. :(

Yes. Do you think its a bad idea? The police are low in numbers about 25% are trained in riot. Any better ideas? Absolutely no point lieing idle like this. Millions and millions of economy $#$%&%$ damage has been done already.
 
A friend of mine is chatting to me on Facebook right now. She is in a Hotel in Ealing right now. Apparently a group of four people came charging into the foyer waving a gun about. They were scared off by something outside though.

Rather scarred for her.
