it looks like riot police don't have an arrest ability, so lets let them have flame-throwers. if they can't arrest them then burn em!
 
Crazy whats happening, feel really sorry for the people that live and work in those places :(

This is bound to push up insurance premiums and goods prices. Will also make even more people out of work :eek:
 
well they've arrested 250 odd but only 40'ish charged with anything, prolly get a caution. arrest the parents too imo. i mean really if parents fail to give their off-spring a sense of right and wrong then they have atleast 25% culpability.

Just looking at the bus crash on Sky News, shocking really, could have done some serious damage.
 
Army and TA couldn't do ****. Get the B-Specials and the MSU reinstated and over to Croydon and this would be sorted within the hour! None of this BS community policing rubbish.
 
I doubt there will be a 4th day or riots, the "protesters" will want to get some time in on their new new TVs an consoles.
 
This is getting stupid now - this softly, softly apporach is just sending a message to the rest of the Cro-Magnons that the police are weak. Pretty soon there are going to be (more?) deaths.
 
Hope these Riots will finish soon, i'm returning back to the UK in a few Weeks and i don't particularly want to be greeted by smashed windows and burning vehicles... How far South is the evidence of rioting?
 
This is crazy, this is what you get with a disaffected youth population, with poverty no future and no support. We should be doing more to support these communities and not be taking money away from worthwhile youth projects.

All this talk about bringing in the army is stupid, for a start what army, they cut it all and the others are in afghan or on rest after deployment. Secondly brining in the army to control civil unrest in mainland Britain would be political suicide, it would be a dangerous and unheard of precedence. Marshall law would create even more riots I hope they do **** this up and have to go!

I agree about the army, but don't glamourise these looters as having real political motives - if they did they wouldn't all be breaking into Currys. These fools just want to smash things up and get free iDevices.
