I have to agree with this. Unless the media are all specifically filming mostly black people rioting and mostly white people cleaning up, there is clearly some sort of issue here that people wont dare to discuss.
There were pics yesterday of people walking home with items,one of them a boxed LCD tv.
The royal guard are a military garrison for the royalty, so yes.
Not that i give a **** for the Windsor family, mind you, it would seem rather annoying to the common folk that only royalty deserves the protection, which would cause even worse problems.
Of course with prisons always been full, this wont be helpful, i can bet they will get reduced sentences to keep spaces around the city.
Anyway, no doubt this will make the police look incompetent and the new head commissioner (acting anyway) wont like that very much, any legit protests in the future will probably be effected by heavy handed behaviour.
All this alongside the ongoing inquiry into media/police/government corruption and general plutonomic behaviour, peoples respect in the police cant really be any lower.
Also considering the use of logistics by the thugs, you would think they would have created some forms of improvised weaponry, i suppose they arent that bright, which i can only blame on the last 10 years of rather faulty education systems and recent problems since 2007, still personally think Blair and brown should be charged for treason for what they have caused and done, shame that will never happen though.

Last time I went there (last year) it did seem relatively middle class white predominantly, but still multiethnic.
