Riots in Tottenham, London! (NO RACIST COMMENTS)

Quote from Guardian: More than 200 shopkeepers - joined by friends and relatives - were out in the street in Green Lanes, Haringey, from 8pm last night, according to those workers getting back to normal today.

Among them were three members of staff from Re-Style Hairdressers.
They told me they had armed themselves with baseball bats specifically in response to last night's continuing riots across the capital.

That hairdresser is my next door neighbour... these guys deserve medals as they are protecting the community I live in and I will help them if anything kicks off.

Everyone needs to do this! We need to outnumber these people. Fight back

What if they got towards Knightsbridge, or even worse, headed towards royal residences and started rioting there, started fires there.

Would more severe force then be allowed to be used.

Does Buckingham Palace not have military forces stationed there, be it even in a small numbers. How would that be dealt with.

I'm guessing if they started smashing up rich areas, or say the City or Canary Wharf, then suddenly the government would let the police off the leash, or bring the army in.
 
Officers are even being advised in some areas they should simply put up with people swearing at them, which completely undermines the authority the police once had. We are where we are because as a society we lack the will to allow the police to match the levels of violence being used by the mob. The burnt-out houses and shops are the price we as a nation pay for placing so much importance on the human rights of violent mobs.

Not one for racisum and do NOT believe it is only black youths who are causing the riots nor are they they only ones looting, HOWEVER....

Look at the numbers of black people in the evenings rioting and looting....Now watch the video above and what do you see in comparison???

Just an observation of the news and videos I have watched.

The guy was carrying a gun, he brought it on himself.

If your so 'gansta' that you carry a gun on your person, a machine designed to kill others, then you should expect people to treat your life with the same disregard!

They wont attack those areas though. They are fighting the police on their turf, they know where to run and hide and they have houses they can escape to, if they go beyond their safe little area they are exposed.

As for the looters, they are hardly going to carry their haul home with them are they, police would have no problem picking them up

95% of the people in that video doing the clean up are whites!, how can anyone not see this :confused:.
