I've had a few people try to get these experience days for me as gifts and I've had to flat out refuse. Compared to doing a proper track day or even an airfield day the appeal just isn't there in the slightest.

I didn't know about it until it was my birthday and by then it had already been booked/paid for.

You really got the short straw there, infact I'd have complained to someone in charge, what kind of instructor is she?
Seriously it seemed to me like you were on a Sunday drive, did you ever exceed the UK speed limit?
Also the 360's gearbox is epic, the F1 transmission is jerky but thats the fun, but its overly jerky for you because your not changing up at full tilt.
The 360 day at Silverstone I did we was hitting nearly 140mph in the 360's and in the wet, yes the wet.
All my instructor kept saying to me, was POWER POWER POWER and from time to time brake and remember to look ahead down the track.
Id complain if I were you, not only did you not get to experience a Ferrari at full tilt, you never even broke the speed limit and you were on a track.
Sorry she is either useless or she thought you were useless.
On the day I did we drove 360's and Gayardo's, in the 360 it was an F1 transmission and was using gears 2nd upto 5th at my own will, in the Gayardo is was a manual and 1st and 2nd were gated off, but use of all other gears were fine and some were hitting 150+ on the straight.
Might I suggest you save up for a Jonathon Palmer day at Bedford, there is truly no better driving experience day and you will really learn how to handle a car and even get to race in single seaters.

How often you guys call each other a rude name, you'd all be banned, I am sure it was meant tongue in cheek and on the whole were all adults in here, well were old enough to hold driving licences.
So need to try and drop others in it.
I don't see it as that harsh, yes no one should be calling each other names and in fairness Black Hawk should apologise and take that back, we can all have a constructive conversation without the need for name calling.
That woman is quite annoying but she isn't a massive problem here and is constantly having having to tell him where to go, grabs the wheels and keeps saying 'go go'.
Crap track, not a great instructor but in this case I see the driver as being the weak link that needed plenty of guidance and help.
My laps up at Bruntingthorpe in the Murcialago wern't amazing (plenty of keeping it in 3rd and into 4th) but after a lap the instructor became a lot more comfortable and let me push the car, with the final run getting up to 160mph down the main straight (slightly fun !!!!!)
Gibbo, OcUK Palmer Sport day??? I would fly down for that as the parents live just down the road, we just need a few takers

In all seriousness I could organise something like this and get a discounted rate by saying it was an OcUK group / company outing which might reduce cost a bit, but I suspect it would still be circa £600ish, but it would be the best £600 you could spend I'd say.
If your serious show some interest and if enough of you are genuinely interested to the extent you'd place sizable none refundable deposits or even pay up front then it would be something I'd be willing to look into, but from what I remember of JP days I suspect we'd need at least 20 or so people to get the event for soley OcUK for the day.
In all seriousness, if this does ever happen you can count me in.
From the last two I've been too you would more likely need 30+ it's also becoming more and more popular by the looks.
On the other note, you know yourself rules are rules. I've been suspended for calling someone an idiot in the past.
I would be 100% for this I was going to book a day since I saw your other post!

I have sorted a JP day out on my lunch break, got a discounted price. I shall make an official thread this evening, but you save and it can be an OcUK thing, I shall be going, will be hoping to see a few of you there.
Motors suddenly gets active again after I have started saving money up! Look forward to the thread, might be able to justify it.
