The situation has changed very rapidly. You're living through rose tinted glasses. What happened originally in Tottenham was a totally different thing to what we saw last night. You don't bring in heavy handed tactics and weaponry to deal with a march.
The police, anywhere in the World, aren't capable to deal with the situation we saw last night in a quick time. It's a numbers game my friend. If all this thing kicked off in Trafalgar Square or something like that then it would be containable and be able to neutralised relatively quickly. This isn't the case.

The response time was totally fine. No one expected this, and that is fair. People have a right to protest, people have a right to march. For the police to come down heavily originally would have been wrong and that's why they didn't. It then became quite different and the police were never going to be able to control things in a safe manner in such a time.

Give people a reasonable amount of time to get things into place and see what happens.

It's not a fact.

It's someone's opinion, and as has been shown bigots like yourself clearly have a colour blindness when it comes to white skin pigmentation!

No they have failed themselves, if they put as much effort into education and personal developement, as they do smashing the place up and looting. They would have a better life. :rolleyes:
 
Its the poor from council estates.

They simply want to steal.

We have had organised crime here as-well while all the kids are running round trying to get shoes and TV's there are groups of people in nice audis with crowbars and hydralic type devices to get shutters open.

They are mainly going for large stocks of cigarettes and expensive booze. You can get £30k + of fags in the boot of a car but only a couple of TV's.

Im autistic too, though admittedly its simply Aspergers, which isnt "really" a problem.

Im not saying we should be soft on them or violent, im simply saying we should find the correct solution instead.

Not simply jumping to our guns and going on a thug killing spree, though would be fun, its not correct.

Thing is, it is a very big % of blacks that were involved. This is what people see.
 
You cannot blame these problems on society. Its all to do with how people from underprivileged backrounds apply themselves - PARENTS and CHILDREN. Everyone gets a free education - admittedly some people will be more talented than others, but all the help is there for them to at least obtain some level of qualification from school, if you apply yourself and work hard. Anyone who blames society for their failings is just lazy.

Some people (whether right or wrong) get a better start in life than others, but life is what you make of it and it seems to me that these people just expect everything to be handed to them on a plate. Take a look at children in 3rd world countries working 16+ hours a day rummaging through rubbish tips looking for something that might make them a few pennies - those children are worth a million of the yobbos that we have in this country who are looking for the next opportunity to rob or the next state handout.
 
Ah, that high ranked Police officer on Sky is telling you what I've been saying for the last 24 hours about water cannon. Will you listen to him? Many of you refuse to listen to me and the other wise people in this thread.
 
Unconfirmed reports of riots breaking out in West Bromwich and the town centre being sealed off. Also reports that offices and shops in Wolverhampton have been put on high alert.

We're getting initial reports that shops and banks in Uxbridge are closing down following rumours of a riot planned for 3pm. Around 100 officers are in the town centre.
