Immigrants are usually poor.

As continuously mentioned, the lack of morals isnt because of skin colour. Weve had various theories about this alreeady.

Whats the got to do with what I said. Labour brought in the wrong people to be new cops, and has been for years, splitting the money in a bunch of ineffective ways. That doesn't mean cuts can't reduce spending effectively, a mismanaged organisation can almost always been made more efficient while decreasing spending, if they'll get that right I don't know, probably not.

The overall plans, schemes, training, man power, you can't change 10 years of mismanagement, lack of training, wrong hiring and bad leadership in a year.

Likewise again, if the country can afford say 200million a year in "good times", that doesn't mean when you HAVE to reduce the deficit and make a dent on the growth rate of the debt you can still spend 200million, everything has to make sacrifices.

THe police, people are stupid, no police force in any country in the world can cope if the people simply decide to start rioting. Most countries simply operate on the simple principle of most of the population not wanting to destroy the area they live in. You don't and can't maintain a police force than can deal with ANYTHING that comes its way, on the offchance that anything will come its way. We can't afford it, no one can.

The sooner we get debt/deficit under control the sooner spending can return to safe and maintainable levels, until we get there, spending has to be below that level. If we keep spending the way Labour had us spending, or even what would be safe levels without the massive debt, then we'll end up like Italy, Spain, Greece, otherwise known as, completely ******.

Because its not funny, the only response you're going to get is people telling you that you're a tool and if you are actually serious then I seriously worry about your mental capacity.
 
I find it funny when there are riots and unrest in other countries and the government sends in the Police and Military to quell it and regain order and control. The whole world criticise's them and talks about sanctions and speak about sending in NATO to bomb them to hell.

But when it happens to us, it's a whole different story, save for the fact that we haven't used the Military yet.

6000 were needed to hold lines.

Another 10000 can proactively deal with disorder, charge lines, box in etc.
 
Will there actually be 16,000 police on the streets at the same time tonight? I've seen reports saying there will be a total of 16,000 policemen used over the next 24 hour period.
