Riots in Tottenham, London! (NO RACIST COMMENTS)

Just been advised by one of our co-lo rackspace DC's in Wolverhampton that that they are having to leave early as a pre-caution because of the possibility of return riots in Birmingham
 
Leicester Police have said that there is no trouble there and they haven't advised any shops to close early.

Twitter is going crazy over reports that there are rioters and looters there :rolleyes:

There are a few youths hanging around but it's mostly curious people checking out the wreckage, doesn't look like there will be any riots tonight but the morons might just be sleeping for later. So angry right now.

However the point the woman raises is a good one - 30-40 years ago almost everyone went to Church where they received moral guidance in addition to what they receive from their parents.

I havent been following this today, can someone explain what the significance of Blackberry being hacked is? What caused them to try and assist the police?
 
It's kicked off in Chatham, loads of coppers drove past our site today, we gave em a cheer and told em to kick the **** outta them. Also hearing rumours of riots in Maidstone and possibly starting in Bluewater at some point but I doubt that will happen considering it is impossible to escape from if the police block it off. Would make sense to loot in Kent though considering I imagine half the Kent force is in London now. The police need to get heavy with them tonight or they wont stop. Clearly it's not just restricted to major cities.

They pledged to give police GPS data for their customers in and around London/Birmingham so that they can be 'placed' at the scene.
