no big deal though, can live with it..

So the IPCC are saying there's no evidence of Mark Duggan having fired his handgun, hmmm, I wonder what people will make of that!

Hopefully that circumstances were much more complicated than initially made out, and that we need to wait for proper investigation and evidence to turn up before we make any conclusions...

The police are probably afraid to touch anyone incase they get sued.

I saw this the other night on Sky News. video of about 30 to 40 youths squaring off against about 20 police officers.

Despite the fact the police officers had full riot gear, they started to back off. The crowd saw this ,and charged at them.

Instead of charging back, batons drawn ready to beat the **** out of them.

THe police just turn and ran :(

All this fuss by the activists and protestors over "police brutality" at the G20 demonstrations has left them afraid to touch anyone in case they loose their job again.

The streets are filled with muppets just wandering around watching whats going on, just waiting to get hit in the head by a police barton and end up screaming police brutality again.

Do NOT remove all the benefits of convicted London rioters.

Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions

Petitioners accept that it would be counter-productive to remove all benefits for those convicted of felony in the London riots. Petitioners accept that, with the root cause of the riots being mainly financial in nature, making those involved even poorer will do nothing to help the current situation, or prevent similar acts occurring again in future. Petitioners accept that removing benefits will likely increase the amount of homelessness and potential for crime. Petitioners accept that those who are actually convicted will likely be punished effectively anyway, without creating the further social tension and unrest that a cessation of all benefits would generate.

Ah well, I'm using Chrome if that's any help.

I don't think they'll be cancelling the Scottish games over this, only real flash point could be Glasgow and that would be nothing different from any normal Old Firm game.

I jumped onto a bandwagon. Was a fake STV twitter account. I'll verify in future, sorry.

BBC reporter confirms I was talking nonsense.

Re: Glasgow Riots. Tweets quoting STV news are WRONG. Police say NO riots in Glasgow"

Last time someone attacked Glasgow (ok Glasgow Airport) the rioters (terrorists) ended up getting their heads kicked in....

As Billy Connolly once said - "Terror? Haha... We don't mind a bit of terror in Glasgow" :p

The first 35 seconds are golden :D
