I'm not sure why the Glasgow thread was closed. It demonstrates quite well that the justification some people are using for the riots is just a load of rubbish.

Also, it shows some mods are around. Should take action on slugforbutt. But then again - I may be biased ;).

So who is fuelling this idea about young black people being excluded from society, is it an accurate assessment or is it just perpetuating a myth?

Over the years there have been massive changes to combat racism and discrimination. Are people like Darcus Howe and Lee Jasper doing more harm than good?
 
That kid in the sainsburys images isn't the same kid on Sky News outside Jessops was it? Seem same jacket, and something seems very simmilar even though he was masked at night outside Jessops whilst talking to the reporter.

Black people and activists are simply using the 'excluded from society' line as an excuse for many of them being stupid/lazy scumbags for whatever reason.

It's sickening.

Say for example a mob of youths are travelling through private land, i.e farm, can i shoot them and claim self defence? hypothetically speaking of course.

It's true. But these days it's less about race than it is about being poor; it's just that historical precedence has rolled through. For example: poor black children now outperform poor white children in schools.

Yeah, I think so. Racism is still a problem; but this isn't a race issue. Think of the word 'chav' - do you think of a black guy? I don't. The problem here is massive increases in inequality followed by a sudden increase in hardship through the recession.
